Will Religion Fall After the Discovery of Alien Life?

Whenever we look up into the night sky, we can’t help but be amazed about the vastness of the universe, that we are just a speck in the grand design. But behind our sense of humility, one question still remains controversial. Are we alone? Experts say that we are about to discover that we are not.

Astronomers have found many exoplanets over the last few years, and they are getting closer and closer to finding a small, rocky planet in the habitable zone. They even claim that we will finally find one this year. This discovery could be one of humanity’s most significant feats, because it would shake up our view of our place in the universe.

However, it is most likely that the discovery of alien life will not cause a religious crisis. It could only open up an opportunity to redefine religious beliefs. There is a possibility that believers will continue to believe the all-loving God in the Bible, and philosophize that God just made other children in other planets and that does not make us less special. There is also a possibility that some believers will finally leave the faith, and realize that we are not so special after all.

Apart from the news of a possible alien life discovery, there have been several conspiracy theories about aliens. These include crop circles, UFO sightings, and archaeological materials involving “ancient aliens,” and direct alien contact or abduction. These theories are dangerous, because they suggest that our world is in contact with alien civilizations. This belief could be more of a threat to religion, compared to the discovery of alien life in exoplanets. The big difference is COMMUNICATION.

When we communicate with alien civilizations, we are prone to manipulation. There are many possible ways on how these aliens could lead our civilization astray. They could claim that they have been watching us for generations and they come to help us fix our destructive nature. They could claim that they have given ancient man knowledge for us to achieve what we are today. They could even claim that they created us through genetic manipulation, that they are the biblical God. In short, they could make false claims that could create a new set of beliefs, even worse, a new religion. Many have already been convinced of their existence through conspiracy theories. What more if their existence is already disclosed to the public as fact.

It is illogical and very conceited of us to assume that intelligent aliens will travel light years just to destroy our belief system. Let us look at the matter in a more logical perspective.

Jacques Vallee is a French ufologist who became renowned for his Multidimensional Visitation Hypothesis. He concludes, after vast research, that UFOs are from another dimension, and not from another planet far away. In his book Messengers of Deception, he says:

“The UFO phenomenon represents a manifestation of a reality that transcends our current understanding of physics... The UFOs are physical manifestations that cannot be understood apart for their psychic and symbolic reality. What we see in effect here is not an alien invasion. It is a control system which acts on humans and uses humans.”

Many researchers have made conclusions similar to Jacques Vallee, that the aliens are not necessarily flesh and blood, but highly evolved spiritual beings--beings that are able to overpower the elements of nature and physics, beings that already achieved what we call “Godhood.”

Again, you ask, why would these aliens want to change our belief system?

It all boils down to religion.

If communication with aliens will finally be disclosed to the public, there will be less room for the biblical God, and the people will be convinced that our civilization can also evolve into higher beings like these aliens. It is interesting to note that it sounds very similar to core satanic philosophy that revolves around attaining Godhood. I have tackled this in another article.

Is it possible that the aliens are actually biblical demons, since they are believed to be from another dimension and are trying to change our belief towards religion? As Jacques Vallee says about alien abductions:

“The symbolic display seen by the abductees is identical to the type of initiation ritual or astral voyage that is embedded in the [occult] traditions of every culture... The structure of abduction stories is identical to that of the occult initiation rituals... The UFO beings of today belong to the same class of manifestations as the [occult] entities that were described in centuries past.”

My claim that these aliens are actually demons is just a mere conjecture I came up with after discovering that many researchers conclude that aliens are from another dimension, and not from another planet. However, I think that it is not very far from the absolute truth, if it is not the absolute truth.

There will come a time that the people will be deceived by these so-called aliens. Christianity will fall and a new religion will rise. It is a religion that will be embraced by many since it is based on science. Christians will be hated more, and will be seen as the hindrance to humanity’s progress for not embracing the new belief system. All of these shall happen when alien contact is disclosed to the public. However, I will not fret, for I believe this coming age will not be utopia but false paradise that embraces satanic philosophy.

Musings # 1

I had to take a break from writing in this blog. I had a good reason. When I started writing articles for this blog, many things started to happen. I started feeling that someone, or something, was watching me. Often times, all the hairs in my body would rise with no reason at all, accompanied by a chilling sensation up my spine. These eerie feelings are even worse at night (yes, I could still feel them during the day), that it came to the point that I couldn’t sleep anymore. I can’t even close my eyes and try to sleep, because I see images of demons. I can also hear other noises that suggest movement, like knockings on my wall or breathings near my ear. And every time I look at images in the internet, particularly the profile pictures of my contacts, they suddenly warp into screaming faces. I feel that I’m literally going crazy, so I decided to take a break in writing in this blog. Obviously, I write about controversial stuff, like Satanism and New Age, so I think that these eerie feelings are somewhat connected to my writing.

What really gave me the chills is a Youtube video. It was a Christian radio broadcast linking demons with aliens. I was watching it as a reference for my next blog entry. In the end of the video, they said that ONE SHOULD BE CAREFUL WHEN STUDYING ABOUT DEMONS AND OTHER RELATED STUFF, BECAUSE WHEN YOU ARE, THEY WILL START TO OBSERVE YOU CLOSELY AND MAKE YOU FEEL THEIR PRESENCE, which is what I think is happening to me right now.

I don’t expect anyone to believe me. That’s the appropriate reaction to someone who thinks that he can feel demonic presence. Then again, maybe everything is just a coincidence, or perhaps my wild imagination. Whatever the case, I'll be writing for this blog again. I just have to be brave enough to fight these weird feelings, whether they are real or imaginary.

Is Darwinian Reincarnation Disproving God?

Countless times, scientific arguments have contradicted religious beliefs. However, a new take on the theory of evolution has finally made science and religion agree on something for once, and that is on reincarnation.

Darwinian Reincarnation claims that the stages of near-death experiences, namely out of body experiences, seeing dark voids with the light in the end, reviewing or experiencing one’s life all over again like a flashback, and many more, are actually the death process.

The stages could differ from one person to another. It depends on his age, beliefs, culture, and other factors. The first stage is the out of body experience, where the dead will gain a perspective different from his physical body. Perhaps this is the view from his subtle body. The second stage is seeing a dark void with a light in the end. It gives the idea that he is now transitioning to another world. The third stage is the arrival to the “other side,” followed by the life review, wherein he will examine his whole life all over again. In certain religions, this stage is parallel to the reviewing of karma, the judging through the Book of Life, and the weighing of the scale by Anubis. Life review is the most crucial part of his death process, for in this stage he feels positive or negative emotions towards the things he has done in his life. In this way, he is having an idea which actions to avoid and which to repeat in his next life.

Darwinian Reincarnation argues that this process of our death is an evolutionary trait, meaning that somewhere in our evolutionary history it has helped our species for better survivability.

Natural selection happens when a species has a specific trait that gives it more survivability. In time, those who do not have the specific trait die off and those who have it will flood the whole species. The problem is that when a person dies, he does not pass down a trait. So how can our death process be an evolutionary trait?

It is important to note that in order for evolution to take place, there should be a sort of pressure on the survival of the species. In the case of humans, this would be the ridiculous amount of things we need to learn about the complexities of human society. Reincarnation gives us an advantage by pre-adapting us to social success in cultural environments. This happens when the information from the dead’s life review is passed to an unborn child, giving the child ideas on which actions to do or avoid so he could climb the social ladder. The more he climbs up closer and closer to becoming the alpha male, the more chances he has for mating. Thus, he has more chances of passing his DNA.

So how does this, the information concerning how to live in complex cultures and what actions are best to climb the social ladder, enter an unborn young? It travels through the Earth’s magnetic field. Simply think of the information as a radio feed, and the unborn young’s consciousness is the radio. Once the unborn’s mind generate brain waves that could cater to this information, it is likely that the information will be captured by the unborn’s brain. The same concept on how a radio works.

I am not sure if Darwinian Reincarnation is already an accepted scientific theory, but I think it is still a hypothesis that is greatly discussed. Whichever the case, I am very interested on how this argument will affect religion in general.

What I find disappointing in Darwinian Reincarnation is that in a subtle way, it is trying to tell us that we should look at spirituality and the supernatural in a natural way, something science can tackle, like evolution, consciousness, and brain waves. In another perspective, maybe it is telling us that the all-loving God we know does not exist, and what exists is a universal consciousness that connects us all.

As I read further regarding modern science and spirituality, I can almost say that Christianity will fall in a few years, and there will raise a new religion that involves science and new age consciousness, which will be embraced by many, since almost all of us will fall for anything scientific. Of course, I have no right to make such a bold prediction. It is just my speculation, as more and more people embrace science and seek spiritual consciousness.

Are You a Satanist Unconsciously?

The internet is a battlefield of opposing beliefs towards religion. Arguments range from creatio ex nihilo versus evolution, to the very existence of God Himself. The atheist sees theistic arguments to be ancient and outdated, and he or she predicts that it is only a matter of time when religion will finally succumb to the advancement of science and technology. The contemporary age is giving less and less room for religious conviction, and more and more for modern philosophy and new age spiritual consciousness. However, even atheists have diverse ideologies. Some atheists view that the truth-values of certain claims, such as the existence or non-existence of a higher being, are unknowable, while some totally reject the existence of a higher being and consider that the closest thing we could ever see similar to it is an advanced alien civilization. Apart from that opposing belief towards a higher being, all atheists follow the same modern philosophies, which are, subtly, similar to satanic philosophies.

In simple terms, there are two kinds of Satanism, the theistic and atheistic. Theistic Satanists acknowledge the existence of Satan as a higher being, while Atheistic Satanists see Satan as a symbolic, archetypal sense of certain human traits. Apart from that, they are generally the same. Satanism’s fundamental beliefs involve free thought, individualism, self-indulgence to natural desires, and other ideological backlashes to Christian philosophy. What I find surprising is that these beliefs are very prominent to atheists as well, as if they are not merely atheists but atheistic satanists.

Free thought is a philosophical belief that opinions should be based on logic and reason, rather than blindly following tradition and dogma. This is most prominent in an atheist when he demands a scientific explanation from a theist, and when he claims to be a freethinker and has the right to question anything, especially those that seem illogical and without proof.

Individualism endorses the exercise of one's desires. It is a philosophy that embraces independence and self-reliance. This core satanic principle is also obvious in the atheist. This can be said as true when an atheist admits that he values himself above all others and he will further his own interests, regardless of what society has to say. This trait makes an atheist philosophize about liberalism, political anarchy, and beliefs that support the self above all. This also makes an atheist to cease believing in a higher being, and convince himself that everything he has achieved is because of his own hard work.

The satanic philosophy of self-indulgence to natural desires is like a contemporary form of Hedonism, wherein one’s life will be based on taking and giving pleasure while trying not to harm others. This belief is also prevalent to the atheist community, and is seen into practice when an atheist claims that he will just enjoy the present moment and indulge with pleasures without feeling guilty of judgment from a higher being. He believes that his actions are ethical, since he  is not harming anyone by merely spoiling in his own pleasures.

To wrap things up in our connecting of atheistic and satanic beliefs and behaviors, let us examine one of the main arguments of atheists against theists--evolution.

Basically, evolution is the theory of changing the hereditary characteristics of a biological population over consecutive generations. Charles Darwin was the first to formulate an argument for the theory by means of natural selection. This process creates and preserves population traits that are more suitable for functionality and survivability. This theory has persuaded atheists to believe that everything was developed through gradual growth, rather than the traditional creatio ex nihilo. Since the theory denies Christian philosophy that humankind fell from perfection and supports the idea that we are actually rising towards greater and greater perfection through gradual growth, it can be considered a satanic theory, for it is similar to Satan's desire for godhood. This desire is subtly present in the atheist, regardless of him admitting it. This is obvious because of the atheistic belief of evolution, that human development can be seen in the future and we will inevitably transcend to a higher level of being until, finally, we can become Gods ourselves. Whether this thirst for godhood will be quenched through natural or technological means, like Transhumanism, I do not know. The only thing I know is that this desire to transcend to a higher level of being is a satanic principle.

Are you an atheist? Are you a freethinker? Do you value yourself above all others? Do you indulge in present-moment pleasures without feeling guilty? Do you believe in the concept of survival of the fittest? If your answers are yes, you are probably an Atheistic Satanist. If you deny that, at least accept the fact that your mindset is in line with core satanic philosophies. The worst part is you are not even aware of that until now.

Is Meditation Satanic?

I was always fascinated about the concept of a literal, collective consciousness and that we are part of it. Some call it the truth, some call it the grand scheme of things, some call it the universe, and some call it God. There is a little voice in each of us that tells us to tune ourselves with this collective consciousness, and by doing that, we gain a sense of unity with nature.

One of the methods to connect to this vast network of energy is through meditation. Through meditation, one can acquire a higher level of consciousness by opening one’s self to the energies of the universe.

One day, I suddenly got this urge to try it, with the selfish intent of improving my spirituality and connection with nature. This post is not about my personal experience about meditation, so let me just delve into it briefly. In the first few minutes of meditating, my mind was much clustered with random thoughts. However, the number of thoughts decreased in time, and my body felt weightless. It all climaxed with an incredible surge of energy that felt like a strong wind. This sensation distracted me, putting me away from the meditative state. It felt very good yet eerie at the same time, like a drug. It was as if my conscience was telling me that this sensation was merely a false sense of spirituality, and that it was something I should not be involved.

When I opened my eyes, I felt very refreshed. However, the eerie sensation I felt in the meditative state bothered me. That was the point when I decided that I had to understand meditation further.

I read many materials about meditation in general, not just in Breath Meditation, the kind of meditation I have practiced. I learned many things, some of which were pretty disturbing, at least for me. However, what really captured my attention were the “third eye” and the “kundalini,” powers that a meditation practitioner could awaken.

The third eye refers to the brow chakra, one of the chakra points in the body where the energy mainly flows. Through Third Eye Meditation, one can open his or her third eye. Those with open third eyes gain sight beyond the physical world. They could see spiritual beings from different dimensions and worlds, auras and other energies, and many more. In the writings that I have read, it appears that they have these powers even when they are not in the meditative state.

The kundalini, also known as the “serpent power,” is a sleeping force in the root chakra, located in the base of the spine in the tailbone area. It is the energy of the Self, wherein the Self is the universal consciousness. The awakening of kundalini should be slow, since it is the time when one’s mental and physical structure is changing, to get ready for a more spiritual energy. A rapid kundalini awakening can cause frightening visions, including snakes and conversations about snakes, and physical discomfort due to the rapid rise of energy levels that could not be contained by the unprepared body.

What I find disturbing is the connection of the third eye, the kundalini and meditation in general, to Hinduism. At plain sight, this is not surprising, since meditation has its roots from Hinduism. However, I think that this is part of a bigger picture.

Hinduism is basically about achieving Moksha, the liberation from the endless cycle of death and rebirth. One can achieve Moksha by letting go of Avidya, the ignorance about the nature of Being, which is the cause of suffering. Hindus believe that God is everything and everything is God. Once one has finally found his or her true essence, he or she will be united with the central being of God, the “Brahma.” This ideology is similar to the new age concept of meditation, that everything is energy and we are part of that energy, that we are spiritual beings with great potential to be “Gods” ourselves if we learn how to connect with the universal energy. As I mentioned earlier, this is not surprising. Not until we compare it to Christian beliefs.

It is important to note that the “Serpent” has always been a prominent symbol in both Christianity and Hinduism. However, these two religions have opposing views toward the snake. Christians see the snake as a being associated with the devil. Hindus, however, and not to mention Egyptians and other peoples, see the snake as a being with high status, totally opposite to the Christian belief.

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your
eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good
        and evil.

That is a passage from the book of Genesis, wherein the serpent is enticing Eve to open her eyes and be God. It is strangely similar to Hinduism and new age meditation beliefs. Is it possible that the Hindus are actually embracing the ideologies of the biblical serpent? Is the biblical serpent the kundalini, and is it referring to the third eye in this passage? I do not have the right to say so, nor do I have any right to bash any religion.

It all boils down to the fact that I am still suspicious to the good yet eerie sensation I felt during meditation. According to websites concerning meditation, since the discipline is about opening one’s self to the energies of the universe, he or she is also prone to negative energies; and the only way to channel positive energies exclusively is by good intention. If this is true, why are there meditation practitioners who do have good intentions, still have frightening experiences, like feeling eerie presences and seeing demonic beings?

As of now, I am not sure if I should continue meditation to find out the answers myself. The only thing I am sure of is my determination to keep an eye on meditation, since it is a trend that is rapidly spreading.

Do you think that my mere lack of experience in meditation is the cause of the eerie sensation? Do you think that I am over thinking things? What are your views towards this subject?
