Are You a Satanist Unconsciously?

The internet is a battlefield of opposing beliefs towards religion. Arguments range from creatio ex nihilo versus evolution, to the very existence of God Himself. The atheist sees theistic arguments to be ancient and outdated, and he or she predicts that it is only a matter of time when religion will finally succumb to the advancement of science and technology. The contemporary age is giving less and less room for religious conviction, and more and more for modern philosophy and new age spiritual consciousness. However, even atheists have diverse ideologies. Some atheists view that the truth-values of certain claims, such as the existence or non-existence of a higher being, are unknowable, while some totally reject the existence of a higher being and consider that the closest thing we could ever see similar to it is an advanced alien civilization. Apart from that opposing belief towards a higher being, all atheists follow the same modern philosophies, which are, subtly, similar to satanic philosophies.

In simple terms, there are two kinds of Satanism, the theistic and atheistic. Theistic Satanists acknowledge the existence of Satan as a higher being, while Atheistic Satanists see Satan as a symbolic, archetypal sense of certain human traits. Apart from that, they are generally the same. Satanism’s fundamental beliefs involve free thought, individualism, self-indulgence to natural desires, and other ideological backlashes to Christian philosophy. What I find surprising is that these beliefs are very prominent to atheists as well, as if they are not merely atheists but atheistic satanists.

Free thought is a philosophical belief that opinions should be based on logic and reason, rather than blindly following tradition and dogma. This is most prominent in an atheist when he demands a scientific explanation from a theist, and when he claims to be a freethinker and has the right to question anything, especially those that seem illogical and without proof.

Individualism endorses the exercise of one's desires. It is a philosophy that embraces independence and self-reliance. This core satanic principle is also obvious in the atheist. This can be said as true when an atheist admits that he values himself above all others and he will further his own interests, regardless of what society has to say. This trait makes an atheist philosophize about liberalism, political anarchy, and beliefs that support the self above all. This also makes an atheist to cease believing in a higher being, and convince himself that everything he has achieved is because of his own hard work.

The satanic philosophy of self-indulgence to natural desires is like a contemporary form of Hedonism, wherein one’s life will be based on taking and giving pleasure while trying not to harm others. This belief is also prevalent to the atheist community, and is seen into practice when an atheist claims that he will just enjoy the present moment and indulge with pleasures without feeling guilty of judgment from a higher being. He believes that his actions are ethical, since he  is not harming anyone by merely spoiling in his own pleasures.

To wrap things up in our connecting of atheistic and satanic beliefs and behaviors, let us examine one of the main arguments of atheists against theists--evolution.

Basically, evolution is the theory of changing the hereditary characteristics of a biological population over consecutive generations. Charles Darwin was the first to formulate an argument for the theory by means of natural selection. This process creates and preserves population traits that are more suitable for functionality and survivability. This theory has persuaded atheists to believe that everything was developed through gradual growth, rather than the traditional creatio ex nihilo. Since the theory denies Christian philosophy that humankind fell from perfection and supports the idea that we are actually rising towards greater and greater perfection through gradual growth, it can be considered a satanic theory, for it is similar to Satan's desire for godhood. This desire is subtly present in the atheist, regardless of him admitting it. This is obvious because of the atheistic belief of evolution, that human development can be seen in the future and we will inevitably transcend to a higher level of being until, finally, we can become Gods ourselves. Whether this thirst for godhood will be quenched through natural or technological means, like Transhumanism, I do not know. The only thing I know is that this desire to transcend to a higher level of being is a satanic principle.

Are you an atheist? Are you a freethinker? Do you value yourself above all others? Do you indulge in present-moment pleasures without feeling guilty? Do you believe in the concept of survival of the fittest? If your answers are yes, you are probably an Atheistic Satanist. If you deny that, at least accept the fact that your mindset is in line with core satanic philosophies. The worst part is you are not even aware of that until now.
