Will Religion Fall After the Discovery of Alien Life?

Whenever we look up into the night sky, we can’t help but be amazed about the vastness of the universe, that we are just a speck in the grand design. But behind our sense of humility, one question still remains controversial. Are we alone? Experts say that we are about to discover that we are not.

Astronomers have found many exoplanets over the last few years, and they are getting closer and closer to finding a small, rocky planet in the habitable zone. They even claim that we will finally find one this year. This discovery could be one of humanity’s most significant feats, because it would shake up our view of our place in the universe.

However, it is most likely that the discovery of alien life will not cause a religious crisis. It could only open up an opportunity to redefine religious beliefs. There is a possibility that believers will continue to believe the all-loving God in the Bible, and philosophize that God just made other children in other planets and that does not make us less special. There is also a possibility that some believers will finally leave the faith, and realize that we are not so special after all.

Apart from the news of a possible alien life discovery, there have been several conspiracy theories about aliens. These include crop circles, UFO sightings, and archaeological materials involving “ancient aliens,” and direct alien contact or abduction. These theories are dangerous, because they suggest that our world is in contact with alien civilizations. This belief could be more of a threat to religion, compared to the discovery of alien life in exoplanets. The big difference is COMMUNICATION.

When we communicate with alien civilizations, we are prone to manipulation. There are many possible ways on how these aliens could lead our civilization astray. They could claim that they have been watching us for generations and they come to help us fix our destructive nature. They could claim that they have given ancient man knowledge for us to achieve what we are today. They could even claim that they created us through genetic manipulation, that they are the biblical God. In short, they could make false claims that could create a new set of beliefs, even worse, a new religion. Many have already been convinced of their existence through conspiracy theories. What more if their existence is already disclosed to the public as fact.

It is illogical and very conceited of us to assume that intelligent aliens will travel light years just to destroy our belief system. Let us look at the matter in a more logical perspective.

Jacques Vallee is a French ufologist who became renowned for his Multidimensional Visitation Hypothesis. He concludes, after vast research, that UFOs are from another dimension, and not from another planet far away. In his book Messengers of Deception, he says:

“The UFO phenomenon represents a manifestation of a reality that transcends our current understanding of physics... The UFOs are physical manifestations that cannot be understood apart for their psychic and symbolic reality. What we see in effect here is not an alien invasion. It is a control system which acts on humans and uses humans.”

Many researchers have made conclusions similar to Jacques Vallee, that the aliens are not necessarily flesh and blood, but highly evolved spiritual beings--beings that are able to overpower the elements of nature and physics, beings that already achieved what we call “Godhood.”

Again, you ask, why would these aliens want to change our belief system?

It all boils down to religion.

If communication with aliens will finally be disclosed to the public, there will be less room for the biblical God, and the people will be convinced that our civilization can also evolve into higher beings like these aliens. It is interesting to note that it sounds very similar to core satanic philosophy that revolves around attaining Godhood. I have tackled this in another article.

Is it possible that the aliens are actually biblical demons, since they are believed to be from another dimension and are trying to change our belief towards religion? As Jacques Vallee says about alien abductions:

“The symbolic display seen by the abductees is identical to the type of initiation ritual or astral voyage that is embedded in the [occult] traditions of every culture... The structure of abduction stories is identical to that of the occult initiation rituals... The UFO beings of today belong to the same class of manifestations as the [occult] entities that were described in centuries past.”

My claim that these aliens are actually demons is just a mere conjecture I came up with after discovering that many researchers conclude that aliens are from another dimension, and not from another planet. However, I think that it is not very far from the absolute truth, if it is not the absolute truth.

There will come a time that the people will be deceived by these so-called aliens. Christianity will fall and a new religion will rise. It is a religion that will be embraced by many since it is based on science. Christians will be hated more, and will be seen as the hindrance to humanity’s progress for not embracing the new belief system. All of these shall happen when alien contact is disclosed to the public. However, I will not fret, for I believe this coming age will not be utopia but false paradise that embraces satanic philosophy.

Musings # 1

I had to take a break from writing in this blog. I had a good reason. When I started writing articles for this blog, many things started to happen. I started feeling that someone, or something, was watching me. Often times, all the hairs in my body would rise with no reason at all, accompanied by a chilling sensation up my spine. These eerie feelings are even worse at night (yes, I could still feel them during the day), that it came to the point that I couldn’t sleep anymore. I can’t even close my eyes and try to sleep, because I see images of demons. I can also hear other noises that suggest movement, like knockings on my wall or breathings near my ear. And every time I look at images in the internet, particularly the profile pictures of my contacts, they suddenly warp into screaming faces. I feel that I’m literally going crazy, so I decided to take a break in writing in this blog. Obviously, I write about controversial stuff, like Satanism and New Age, so I think that these eerie feelings are somewhat connected to my writing.

What really gave me the chills is a Youtube video. It was a Christian radio broadcast linking demons with aliens. I was watching it as a reference for my next blog entry. In the end of the video, they said that ONE SHOULD BE CAREFUL WHEN STUDYING ABOUT DEMONS AND OTHER RELATED STUFF, BECAUSE WHEN YOU ARE, THEY WILL START TO OBSERVE YOU CLOSELY AND MAKE YOU FEEL THEIR PRESENCE, which is what I think is happening to me right now.

I don’t expect anyone to believe me. That’s the appropriate reaction to someone who thinks that he can feel demonic presence. Then again, maybe everything is just a coincidence, or perhaps my wild imagination. Whatever the case, I'll be writing for this blog again. I just have to be brave enough to fight these weird feelings, whether they are real or imaginary.
